Delete your Datarot account

This starts the official account deletion flow. The backend will choose OTP, password, or no extra verification based on how your account is linked.

This page uses Datarot's backend account deletion flow. Depending on your account type, the system will require an OTP sent to your linked email, your current password, or no extra verification after the two on-page confirmations.

Data deleted or wiped

  • Account profile details, including email, name, date of birth, login links, session tokens, language, theme, card back, and other personal settings.
  • Saved tarot readings, tarot questions, AI reading content, and follow-up messages.
  • Feedback connected to your account.
  • Email verification records and password reset records.
  • Wallet reservations and active wallet balance. Remaining coins are zeroed.

Data anonymized

  • AI usage records may be kept for operational reporting, but the user reference is removed so they are no longer tied to your account.
  • The user record is soft-deleted for system integrity: personal information is wiped, the username is replaced with a deleted-account identifier, and account status becomes deleted.

Data that may be kept

  • Payment transactions, order identifiers, wallet ledger entries, and payment history may be retained.
  • Security, abuse-prevention, audit, and anti-fraud logs may be retained when needed.
  • Backups may contain older data for a limited retention cycle before they naturally expire.

Why anything is retained

  • Legal, tax, accounting, chargeback, refund, and dispute obligations.
  • Fraud prevention, platform security, abuse investigation, and proof that the deletion request was processed.
  • Maintaining financial records without keeping your active profile or personal tarot content.

Guidelines before you continue

  • Signing in is recommended because the app can choose the correct backend flow for your account automatically.
  • If you are signed out, enter your username. A code can only be sent if the account has a linked email.
  • If your account has no linked email, you must sign in and verify with your current password.
  • If the account is Google-only with no linked email, the backend may allow deletion after the two on-page confirmations.
  • Do not share deletion OTPs. After deletion, the account and deleted content cannot be restored from the app.
